Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP, is a treatment used for cell rejuvenation that can be used for skin and hair conditions.
A blood sample is taken and deposited in a specific PRP gel tube. Using a centrifuge, the blood plasma rich in growth factors is separated and used after adding to it specific activators and vitamins.
PRP is used for many skin conditions like acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles and also as strong and efficient treatment for the prevention of hair loss.
Procedure can take30 minutes.
In general the recovery is smooth and rarely the patient may feel some discomfort or pain for few days.
Like any procedure, there are possible complications: infection, bruising.
